作業の一つとして、古物販売をしています。
ヤフオクやメルカリ、ebayなどで販売を行っています。
古物市場で仕入れをしたりすると、結構面白い商品が手に入る時があります。せっかくですので、それをブログで紹介していこうという取り組みです。外国の方も読めるように、英語表記も併記しております。

Sometimes we get quite interesting items when we purchase on the secondhand market. Since I am in the mood for a blog post, I thought I would introduce these items on my blog. We also write in English so that people from other countries can read it.
信楽焼について
信楽焼は、滋賀県甲賀市信楽町周辺で作られている陶磁器であり、日本六古窯の１つ。
1976年に国の伝統工芸品として指定されてます。
琵琶湖から採れる土を使った焼き物で、ざっくりとした風合い、あたたかな土の表情が味わい深い焼き物。
有名なたぬきの置物である「信楽たぬき」が全国的に知られるようになったのは、昭和天皇が行幸された際に、信楽たぬきを並べて奉迎し、注目されたことがきっかけ。
今では信楽は陶器の町、信楽として、信楽陶器まつりなど焼き物に関する催しも毎年開かれています。
信楽は、日本六古窯の一つで1250年の伝統を誇る日本最古の産地です。
水がめ、種壷、茶壷、茶器、徳利、火鉢、植木鉢など大物から小物に至るまで信楽焼独特の「わび」「さび」を残し今日に至っています。
Shigaraki ware is a ceramic ware made in and around Shigaraki Town, Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, and is one of the six oldest kilns in Japan.
It was designated as a traditional national craft in 1976.
This pottery is made from clay from Lake Biwa, and has a rough texture and warm earthen look that is full of flavor.
The famous Shigaraki tanuki figurine, the Shigaraki tanuki, became nationally known when Emperor Showa made a trip to Japan and was greeted by a lineup of Shigaraki tanuki, attracting much attention.
Today, Shigaraki is known as “Shigaraki, the City of Pottery,” and events related to pottery, such as the Shigaraki Pottery Festival, are held every year.
Shigaraki is one of the six oldest kilns in Japan with a tradition of 1,250 years.
Shigaraki ware has preserved the unique “wabi” and “sabi” styles of Shigaraki ware from large items such as water jars, seed jars, tea jars,tokkuri, brazier, and flowerpots to the small items that we see today.
信楽焼の特徴
信楽焼の特徴は、陶器に灰がふりかかってできる自然降灰釉、ビードロ釉という独特の味わいです。
土中の鉄分が焼成することによって表面にほのかに赤色がつきます。
または、薄い柿の色のようなオレンジ色になります。
薪の灰に埋まる部分が黒褐色になる「焦げ」の現象から生まれます。
ザラザラ触感。オレンジ色。なんとなく柔らかい風合いを感じます。
Shigaraki ware is characterized by the unique flavor of the natural ash fall glaze, or beadlo glaze, formed when ash is sprinkled on the pottery.
The iron in the clay gives the surface a faint red color when fired.
The surface of the pottery becomes slightly reddish or orange, like the color of a light persimmon.
It is produced from the phenomenon of “scorching,” in which areas buried in wood ashes turn blackish brown.
Rough texture. Orange color. Somewhat soft texture.

この商品の売りは、何といっても小さい花をあしらっているところ。
よく見ると、花が描かれている。そんなさりげない演出がわびさびのポイントと言えるでしょう。
The selling point of this product is that it is decorated with small flowers.
If you look closely, you can see the flowers. Such a casual presentation can be said to be the point of wabi-sabi.
